顾东风，男，1958生。1983年南京医科大学毕业，1986年中国协和医科大学研究生毕业。1990－92年在美国明尼苏达大学、1997年在加拿大多伦多大学心脏分子遗传实验室和1999-2000年在英国南安普敦大学人类遗传学系研究,英国皇家学会访问教授。1994－98年任中国医学科学院阜外心血管病医院流行病学研究室主任，现任该所群体遗传学及人群防治研究室主任;中国协和医科大学教授、博士生导师，美国杜兰大学医学中心流行病学兼职教授。英国南安普敦大学人类遗传系客座教授。科技部人类遗传资源管理专家委员会成员，中华预防医学会全国理事。青海省人民政府医学科技顾问。国际冠心病预防专题委员会成员、国际遗传流行病学学会会员。
