In another thread, one of our senior professors (Prof. Song-Gang) mearly got a Post-Doc post at MIT. Now, a (assumed to be) prestigious Tai-Shan Professorship has been given to a Canadian PhD student! Please be advised that her achievements so far is very average, from any point of view! Certainly, no one can deny that she could be very outstanding in the future, but what's the evidence?
Look at the other thread talking about Qilu University history. At that time, most of the Qilu University professors were professors in world famous universities!
If we compare this, how far has Shandong University dropped!
