A visiting studentship is available in Purdue University to study cell cycle regulation in cancer
biology. The lab is focusing on a key cell cycle regulator, Polo-like kinase 1
(Plk1), and its roles in chemoresistance, prostate cancer and pancreatic cancer.
The major approaches include both cell biology and various mouse models. The
lab has been routinely publishing on solid journals such as PNAS and EMBO. For

Applicants are expected to have their own fellowships from China Scholarship Council to support
themselves for one or two years in US. The PI will try his best to help the student to publish one or two
solid papers in descent journals during his/her stay. Interested
