Opportunity for Chinese students - China Employability Workshop in the UK Nov 2009

Dear students,
Under the current global economic context, university graduates are facing increasing pressure and competition in the job market, which is particularly the case for Chinese students graduating from UK or other overseas institutions. In order to prepare Chinese students for their future career development in China, the British Council China plans to organise three employability workshops in the UK from 20 November to 27 November 2009, at which Chinese students can get first-hand information and updates from HR professionals who represent major employers in China.
Please find below an itinerary of the workshops:
City         Time                                                                          Venue*
London  15:00 – 17:00, 21 November 2009 (Saturday)      Westminster City Hall
Cardiff 19:00 – 21:00, 24 November 2009 (Tuesday)       Cardiff University
Edinburgh       19:00 – 21:00, 27 November 2009 (Friday)        University of Edinburgh
*Detailed venue information will be sent to registered students with the registration confirmation letters
The workshops will be delivered in Chinese language only and will be open to all Chinese students free of charge. Please note that, due to limited number of workshop sessions and venue capacity, online registration will be required for any students that are interested in attending this event. You can register at http://www.educationuk.cn/alumniuk/uktour/. Further event details can be found on this website.
Should you have any question about the workshops, please feel free to contact the British Council China directly at:
Zhang Meng, Education Marketing Manager, zhang.meng@britishcouncil.org.cn
Feng Ying, Education Marketing Officer, feng.ying@britishcouncil.org.cn
Please do not reply to international@nottingham.ac.uk as it is an unattended mailbox.
Kind regards,
International Office
